When the worm gear reducer is running, the difference between the oil quantity and the actual oil quantity is relatively large. It is recommended to weigh the oil quantity and add an appropriate amount of lubricating oil for the worm gear reducer when the worm gear reducer ends its operation.


When the worm gear reducer is produced, the oil amount of the reducer is added to the position of 2/3 of the oil window. And this data is in the shutdown state, do not add lubricating oil when the worm gear reducer is running.





During the operation of the worm gear reducer, the internal gears or the worm gear drive the internal lubricating oil to run together. If the worm gear reducer oil quantity is determined in this case, it may be full, or it may be lower than 2/3 of the oil window, there may even be no lubricating oil.


When the new worm gear reducer is used, the new oil needs to be replaced after 300 hours of continuous operation, and the oil needs to be changed every 2500 hours thereafter. However, the quality of the oil should still be checked regularly during the application process. Deterioration situation, must be replaced at any time. The reducer should be used with worm gear oil of a fixed brand and number, and should not be mixed with different brands, numbers or types of oil. During the oil change process, the interior of the reducer should be cleaned first, and then new oil should be injected.
